1. Overview

Hidden Pages (“we”, “our”) operates hiddenpages.io. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

2. Data we collect

  • Scan input: URLs you enter to scan (we use them only to run the scan and show results).
  • Account data: If you log in with Google, we receive your email, name, and profile image from Google. We use this to identify your account and show usage.
  • Usage and limits: We store how many scans you’ve used per billing period (and your plan) so we can enforce limits. This is stored in our database (Redis).
  • Payment: Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store card numbers. We receive and store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status so we can match your plan.
  • Anonymous use: If you don’t log in, we track usage by IP address to apply the free scan limit.
  • Cookies: We use session cookies for login (via NextAuth). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

3. How we use data

We use the data above to provide the service (scans, limits, billing), to improve the product, and to respond to support requests. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

4. Third parties

We use: Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Upstash/Redis (storage). Each has its own privacy policy. We do not share your data with others except as needed to run the service or as required by law.

5. Retention

We keep account and usage data while your account exists (or for anonymous users, for the period we need to enforce limits). You can delete your account by contacting us; we will remove or anonymize your data.

6. Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing support@hiddenpages.io. If you are in the EEA/UK, you have additional rights under applicable data protection laws.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
